Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

Enjoyed the chance to race again. The track was a delight to sling cars around.

Race 1. Lotus Cortina. I was holding my own, staying pretty close to Mr. Betty for about half of the race when I had an unforced spin off and made a good recovery but lost valuable distance. I went off track again a bit later avoiding two bunches of cars out of zinc. I got around the first incident but not the second one and slid off to avoid a crash with Yves. I had to wait until all drivers passed before I could return safely. I worked hard to catch and pass Hans near the end.

Race 2 . Alfa Romero. I had a good start and I was hanging with the front pack having a blast for about 2 or 3 laps when I got too aggressive on the throttle coming out of a corner ( hoping to accelerate ) and did a slow spin off.... now in last place again but I had fun fighting my way back past a couple of drivers. I wasn't going to win any way and the challenge to catch a couple good drivers was great fun.

Thanks for the work Rupe and Yves... great track/car combo.

Cheers to all drivers, grats to podiums.

I agree with Jack about the track, it's a blast.

R1.- I had done around 5-6 laps of practice offline before joining the server, so I expected to be last. I thought the Alpha might be fast so I gave it a go but I had no set up so I was on default. Things went better than I expected and somehow I finished mid pack.

R2 - I had noticed that the Elan 26R was quite quick and I had a set up, so I went with that. HERE
The setup worked well and, to my amazement, I grabbed pole with my very last qually lap.
My surprise didn't last long though, I messed up the start and continued to have a woeful first lap. By the end of L1 I was last I think. Unusually for me, I kept it on track for the rest of the race (just), whilst chasing hard. In the end I finished 3rd but I still haven't got overtaking worked out. Sorry to any drivers who found my driving erratic, I am trying to get it sorted.

Look forward to seeing you all on track again soon.
I'm hoping that by September, we'll have the size of grids that this amazing sim deserves.

@Rupe Wilson Yes please :)

Expect me to be in a big engined car and a small engined car (the Jaguar will most likely be one of them) and then it's either the Mini or the Abarth
I've had the best mid-pack race ever in the TCR on tuesday, endless fun trying to get ahead of Stig in the Alfa for the entire race. Shame i can't use it again, would gladly trade it for the fastest car this week :).
But the Jag struggles just a bit too much here, in my opinion.
