This week in the rFactor2 Racing Club we visit Palm Beach! A fun combination of tricky turns and long straights should provide us with some incredible racing this week!

Following the success of last weeks Corsa vs Clio event, we have decided to keep this combination going in the club this week. Last week saw incredibly close racing. The cars are evenly matched and both are extremely fun and easy to drive! Are you going to be this weeks hatchback hero? Sign up here.

In the GT class this week we will be doing a team match, putting the Nissan 370 Z up against the Renault Megane. The 370 Z is a little bit trickier than the FWD's, mash the throttle and you'll spin, mash the brake and you'll head straight off. The Megane is a little easier to handle, you can confidently brake late and throw the car into the corners, it's easier on the throttle too which makes it great for beginners in the GT class. Two really fun, fast cars going around the Palm Beach circuit. Sound fun? Show your skills for event and enter here.

Sunday we race the Formula Renault 3.5's. These cars are the stepping stone to the Marussia's on rFactor 2 and are perfect for beginners as well as the experienced drivers. The downforce and slick tires provide lot's of grip allowing you to go through corners at high speeds. Overtaking in these cars will require some bravery and skill, to be late on the brakes and early on the throttle and also try to get past the car ahead whilst defending from the car behind without causing an incident can be tricky at times. Even though it's challenging, it's also incredibly fun! Are you good enough to win this weeks single seater event? Sign up here.

These club races are open to all RaceDepartment licensed members, if you don’t have a license yet race by our Pit Lane to pick one up for free.

Practicing sessions before the races will start on pre-rubbered tracks to practice with the grip levels you approximately will have at the start of the race. The practice prior to the actual qualifying and race will be set as stated in the individual event, so make sure to lay down rubber prior to the race.
