It's been a while since the last RENNSPORT update . Since the launch of the closed beta, the developers have been working hard to make improvements to the base game and create new content. So here are some things coming in the next beta update on November 24, 2023
The Physics
We've gone to great lengths to fine-tune and improve the overall driving experience. Every single car has been touched and some of them are very different from what you can experience now. For example, the Praga R1 now has significant downforce and behaves more like a car of this type should. To make you understand better, here is Krzysztof from our development team:
Hi,
Over the last few months we have focused on three main topics related to physics and driving in general:
- The first thing we noticed is that some parameters received from car data real ones seemed not to work as expected when we inserted them into the simulation. We identified some issues that occurred during the process of translating real data into simulations. We've fixed many of these issues, so the cars you'll drive after this update are more like what you'd expect.
- The second aspect we dedicated our time to was improving the behavior of the tyres. In the past, we have received many complaints about this from players and R1 pilots. Now all the tires used by the cars in our game have been modified to give players better results in terms of feel.
- The third thing we spent some time on is adding more data to our force feedback. The way it worked before lacked some detailed information and you didn't sense when you were about to lose control of the car. This aspect is still a work in progress, but we may soon release it in one of the next patches.
It's difficult to explain what these changes mean, but you'll notice them soon after the November 24 update.

Some of these features are minor updates to the experience, while others represent new ways to interact with the game. New stats and leaderboards will be visible in your profile, while some online races will now feature rotating starts. Roller starts, like everything else in the beta, are constantly evolving; After the update goes live, we'll host a targeted feedback roundup on Discord to hear your thoughts.
New Daytona
Road Atlanta Tracks
As you may have already seen in ESL R1, we've crossed the Atlantic to include two iconic US tracks: Daytona and Road Atlanta. Both are unique in their own way and are a great addition to our ever-growing list of tracks. For this update, we'll focus on the Road Atlanta road course, while the oval will be reserved for more...
New cars
We won't reveal anything yet! But next week a completely new class of cars will be introduced in RENNSPORT! There will be a Beta Trailer previewed during the ESL R1 Pre-Show on Friday, November 24, with the update released shortly after the livestream. This is the biggest update we've made so far, by far. To learn more, read the patch notes the day the update goes live.
Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland
More exciting news! Today (actually 20 minutes ago, as I write) it was officially revealed that the next season of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland will be held on RENNSPORT. There is 25,000 euros up for grabs and it will start very soon! We recently added the Cup car that will be used in this competition to the closed beta, and we're excited to get more use out of it. Over the next week, together with Porsche, we will share more details, how to enter, the format and much more, so stay tuned!
It wouldn't be a beta update without a massive key release, right? You may have seen on our social media accounts that we will be releasing 15,000 brand new closed beta keys on November 24th. We will also make sure everyone who signed up in 2022 has a key before the end of the year. We're also getting ready to talk about open beta... soon.
