Reflection update rate

I've spent a ton of time trying to debug this and searched the forums high and low, and I can only find one brief mention of this, although I see the same issue in a lot of videos I see online. Anyway, the problem is that while my frame rates are silky smooth, reflections seem to lag or run at a really low FPS, which is especially noticeable when passing trackside objects like light poles.

If anyone has a hint as to how to fix this, I would be very grateful.

Do you have environment reflection on High or Low?

Do you have environment reflection on High or Low?

It's currently set on High, although I tried Low and it didn't make a difference in regards to the reflection frame rate.
