Really big problem.

Hello! I just found about Racer, it has really great physics, I love them!
But then to the problem, that is making me not want to play racer... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/440/racerprob.png/
I'm running version 0.8.37 if that helps.
And another problem is, that the car doesn't seem to be in balance.
In higher speeds it doesn't stay still, it "shakes"

sounds like the car you use is verry old and maybe for older racer versions....
take a look to the racer docks at racer.nl and in to the lambo witch comes with racer to see how to fix this...
You can run the 0.8.37....so i think it's better for you to change to the 0.8.38(a, b, c?) look in to the release tread...there is a camera fix...done by ruud...
