Hi there,

@Ivo: Thx for the PM! I did not notice this thread before. Was not much around on RD lately (not RD's fault).

I'm looking forward to driving another season. I'm still deeply stirred when I remember all the nice guys and the cool qualis and races. A few weeks ago I seriously considered joining the FPES (if they had another season) but racing in the middle of the week is not actually possible for me. I also prefere the full race length, so RDFPC looks perfect to me.

Now I'm waiting in excitement ...

Thought I'd get this started off

First off, whats the difference (in terms of the cars) between this, and the FPC?

Is it likely to use GP2 cars or similar?

Yeah something like that. GP2, WSBR etc.
Also use of other tracks. Imola, Algarve for example.

WSBR. Formula Renault 3.5 right?

Sounds cool Would certainly be a good stepping block for people new to open wheel, and the Formula Pro series for that matter

World Series by Renault yeah. But thats indeed the idea. Just one class lower then F1.
Easier for new guys, but still motivating for the experienced drivers.

I only just noticed this Ivo, so F1 league is coming back excellent, I have really missed it since the last season finished and like everyone else cant wait.

I say Fsone 2009 v2..
its a good mod.. physics are nice.. and certainly didnt win the MOTY for no reason..

I loved FSOne 09 but since S4 finished I have only driven F1-92 and RDLMS, cant wait to try FSOne 09 v2 now.

I have never had a go on V2 but does it handle like the FSR 2011 Mod?

I think an older F1 mod would be more fun, the new ones (like FSONE 2009) are everywhere and are quite dull to me. Who says we have to run the newest season? The F192s are great fun cars for example. And as Erik says, 2005 etc. where V10s were used. Sound better, and are faster

FSONE isn't the only mod out there. There are plenty to play around with.
