I couldn't get used to a gamepad for racing so I've been testing an RC transmitter as a portable/couch sim controller.
Its a bit limited in terms inputs so I only mapped steering, brake and throttle and run automatic.
Steering is far more precise than a gamepad and I can actually catch slides that I never could with a gamepad.
So far I've tested AC on PC and some older sims on Steam Deck (RF1, GTL). They all work great and I can finally use the deck for simming on the go.
The Speed Dreams dev also requested a test and was apparently impressed with the results.
What do you think? Has anyone else tried this?
