McLaren Magic in China!

McLaren take a stunning maiden S13 win as the Chinese GP takes its toll on others.


McLaren and Gary Ludlum were delighted to take their first win of Season 13 and hope that many more are to follow.

Ludlum leaped out of the car as he parked it in parc ferme for the first time in his career. After the race he had this to say;

WOW! what a great win, I really pushed the car hard this weekend despite some problems early on in the race. The worst moment was when I had to swerve to avoid the spinning Mercedes of Chris Rigby after he seemed to run over a piece of toast on the track which had been thrown and landed butter side up.

Mercedes were once again dissapointed with Rigby and also urged Chris Butcher to score higher in future races.

Virgin seem to have found their place at the bottom of the field after 3 races with only 8 points.

Stan James are not far ahead with only 19 points after Mike Bell missed the start of the race as he was apparently seen doing practice laps in a STCC car causing speculation that he could move to STCC at the end of the season.
