Would you like the game to progress a little bit faster or is it okay like this?

I think starting a race anytime between now and 7 days from now is a good rule. Also, posting the results 48hrs after the last finisher is a good rule, too. I think 48hrs is enough to make sure everyone who is going to race actually does race.
