Also, I am not 100% clear about rally, since it is possible that stage2 starts 1min after stage2. Does that mean that it could happen that nobody finishes stage1?
Or first "Finish" counts for stage1 and second "Finish" counts for stage2?

You post finish for the first stage. It is open until the second stage starts, when you must post finish again. Nothing posted after the second stage has started counts for the first stage.
