Race 07 Steam change

Hi all

Ive just gone to start up race07 and i got this message.

Steam needs to convert the game content for "RACE 07" to a new, more efficient format. This will require an internet connection and a few minutes"

25mins later game starts up and all mods and tracks are still installed but no longer work.

what the hell are they playing at!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's an antagonistic title.

Anyway, doubt Simbin have anything to do with it, seems like a Steam technicality.
Practically all of my games are in the common folder. Useful if you have more accounts on the same computer.

we did what...? We definatly did not screw anyone, and your assumption is a bit harsh to say the least. As mentioned in our own forums and as was mentioned in the other thread here on RD. This was a change from Steam's side of which we were not informed, we were as suprised as everybody else that the game out of nowhere did nt function anymore!
