I had a horrible evening. Quali I was 2.5s off the pole, finished 9th out of 9.

Race... let's just say I dont even want to talk about it... :(

I am starting to feel so frustrated with all my performance... I am ready to it give it up and go play chest or something...

Eric, just stick with it and if you have questions I and I am sure Yves would be glad to help if we can. Don't give up yet. :)

Hang in there Eric, we all have been feeling that way at times. It does take some time and practice to get good times, especially on these addon tracks, but with more experience you will improve a lot. It took me about 9 months to get competitive with some of the better drivers here, of course the aliens are still out of sight. This race was a long one, and everyone seemed pretty quick, so it did end up being a bit lonely. The shorter sprint races should give some closer racing, and with larger fields you will usually get others around you of similar speed and experience. You were also driving the Peugeot which is a bit slower than the Seat Leon, Chevy, Alfa, so that made it a bit more of a challenge.
Best advice is to stick with it, practice when you get time, ask for some driving tips / help if needed, and have fun. You will certainly improve a lot with more time.

By the way to any Canadians here, I saw the "Canada" banners in a couple of the shots, where is this track located, I couldn't find any info on it on wikipedia, etc. Or is it just made up haha.

Thank you guys.... I won't give up. I just hate to be so much slower than everyone else. My biggest issue is consistency. I will try to race a little more in European races with bigger fields. Hopefully I will find some people to race with..
