VERY IMPORTANT!!!

You have to confirm the golden rules if you sign up for this event. The sign up format is:

  • Drivername: your name
  • I understand the Golden rules: YES
  • Car: one of the cars
If the racing staff don't see this in your sign up request, you won't see your name in the sign up list!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system - read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organizer a private message detailing the incident including a youtube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.

The winner of this event can pick next weeks track

THIS WAS MY WORST EVENT EVER!!

I have absolutly no idea, my Alfa was just slow, could only do 1:23:xxs. My car felt comfortable-ish, but when the first race started, I must have been the slowest car on track. I just couldn't attack at all. The hairpin at the end of the back straight, I could NEVER, NEVER slow down for it the same each lap. I know I'm not great on the brakes compared to some others, but I can't be that bad. The Alfa's being good on all tracks I've raced it on. I've raced around here in a 407 before, and I felt better in that, it had rubbish brakes, but did then job. Does the Alfa just hate STCC tracks? Second race was just a bad.

I think I either need better pedals, or someone to help me get good at this game, that was just horrible. I'm not even fighting for top ten half the time, so yeah, I'm slow and can't stand it.

One last thing. Can people please join the grid before ten seconds to go. Dave you were giving people blue flags all round the first lap of race one.

Edit: also, is everyone afraid of using TS. The number of people using it during EVO events has dwindled.

Well, I hope next weeks track is one that I and my Alfa can get along with.

Cya later.

ethan - dont worry about being at the back

sometimes thats where the best battles are like when we had a 5 or 6 lap fight at valencia

dont get downhearted just try your best

TBH, that fight at Valencia wasn't that fun, just a faff. I have had some good fun with the likes of Chris Sykes, and Ross Conlon near the back, but I'm a racer, and the only place I want to be is near the front. I want to challenge people for decent finishes. I want to end up in the top 8 at least in the first race.

Im not sure how that blue flag move over thing is created but it ruined my first race. I had to go to the back of the field before I could even think about starting to make my way through the pack.

Good event though, I didn't see to many people facing the wrong way. Saying that the tight right hander before the pit entry caught a few out. If you looked into the distance before you came up to it and there was a big cloud of smoke, you could guarentee by the time you got there cars would be everywhere lol.

The blue flag is generated on the first lap by one or more people not joining the grid fast enough. Today, Dave Flower created the blue flag due to only joining the grid right at the last second. I beleive it to be a bug, my XD showed Dave as being in 1st place untill he completed a lap. People NEED to join the grid before the counter gets to 00:10.
