The European Union commissioners have announced that agreement has been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for short).

In the first year, "s" will be used instead of the soft "c". Sertainly, sivil servants will resieve this news with joy.

Also, the hard "c" will be replaced with "k". Not only will this klear up konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced by "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20 per sent shorter.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go.

By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" by "z" and "w" by " v".

During ze fifz year, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou", and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst place....

Was it a copy and paste, or does your brain sometimes through out such things?
BTW: Are here other germans who write no proper english or is this post exactly adressed to me?
 
p.s. I looked for a document or thread where this is written and would have liked to link to it, but I was not able to find it. Anyway - we had this rule during the last AF3kGPC and I gues it will not change.

Written somewhere or not - i hope for everyone in this club it's a gentleman race driver rule to keep at least two wheels within the lines...

But i have to give in, that these fast acting and reacting cars are hard to keep on track for me...
 
Yes, I wouldn't risk it regarding the fuel and take for 4 or 5 laps less (well you can always do a small stop just for a few L in, but...), let us not forget that in Paul Ricard only 2 GTP finished the race (3 were classified) and the 3rd overall was a GTS C6. :wink2:
 
yes, close fighting will be the hardest task!

I cant't imagine how carefull it needs to be especially at the start. For me i'll try to be as defensive as possible at first to find a good start in the race. Then i'll see how much i can dare...
 
I thought about the start. I know it's not F1 like but i prefer for the test race a rolling start and with warm up lap.

I think it's much safer because the field is more stretched and there is less change for a accident. And we need all the people to drive at least a couple of laps to give good feedback about the mod, and not crash in the first corner. :wink2:

And these cars spin our very easy at a standing start, and there is a big change that someone will spin on the starting grid.

Just my 2 cents. :)
