Alright, I am between the BMW and the Marcos now. Just started working on a skin for the Marcos. Basically, if I manage to finish the skin before the cut off for the skin pack, I will run the Marcos. If not, I will stick with the BMW and my current skin. I like both cars for different reasons, although I have to say that my odds of an error free race are much better in the Marcos. :)

Quick WIP shot. :p

Stick with the beemer Stefan, the Marcos is soooo ugly - it looks like a poor mans batmobile.

It's amazing how much a little practice and running some time attacks with downloaded cars can improve your time.

From the time when I first started testing cars for this event to tonight, my lap times have improved by about 20 seconds!

I am hoping to put some time in this weekend since I have a 4-day long weekend, and the wife is gone, so it's me, my computer and my dog! This equals lots of time to practice! At these speeds, it's so easy to go off onto the grass, and you have to get pretty close to the grass in some spots in order to keep the speed up.

There are still a few corners where I am losing time, but I'll keep working on it. As others have said, I'm not too worried about speed - I'm more concerned with consistent laps that stay off the grass and on the track! Endurance is what this race is about, not just speed.

I guess I'm going to have to start my skin this weekend too... burritos anyone?

no need to practice.

i find relying on my cat like reflexes and my hyper-sensitive-feminine-tinged situational awareness, can and will get me to at least t2....

Just done a mid 1:34.xxx @ Pau on the server. I think it is possible for the likes of me to get a 1:33.9ish. Now that's reflexes

edit: Never been a great fan of Macau but I am loving it. The more I play the better it get

:rotfl:When a compressed car gets a problem, doesn't it require a compressed amount of time to fix? see you in 10 minutes?:laugh2:

On another note I have gotten a PM from Chris Aponte who has assured me he will get a server up today for us. Worse case I could PM BRam and he'd be able to set it up.

I would put up a public server but last time I did that I was scolded for using this forum to put up the info and am not allowed to put the RD name on it either. then again it wasn't a server for an RD sanctioned event either.
