Could you please elaborate on that?

If you think there is an overtake contest in this endurance races, I'm afraid you might be into disappointment...

Regarding myself, in both endurance events I've been here at RD, I can't remember a single overtake for position in my Spa race and as for the Paul Ricard one, unimportantly I lost one position early on and nothing more.

As matter of fact in all my endurance events I always follow my line and don't follow defensive lines as the all concept of a defensive line for 180 minutes is above me.

These events are all about tactical fights regarding pit-stops and race pace, many times simracers are separated in the racetrack for a few seconds but they are following different race tactics, it’s a different kind of race/fight...

For instances, for overtaking bonanza, I do RDTCC sprints (in short STCC tracks) where on the last race 8 cars were all within 2 seconds gap a big part of the race... a very different “thrill” then what I "get" from endurance events.

Quite Correct Only Reason i had to overtake you at start at Paul Ricard was because i was running a Complete Different Strategy to you. And it Hinged on keeping up with Haba. :D

...
GT-Pro: João Andias :)alien2: João 2 - Rest 0 )...
Only now I saw the above :shame:

Well, will just remind that at this last event, there were also 2 other class winners, H. Horvath (GTSport) and C. Rogerson (GTClub).:wink2:

At this event (as the things stand) there will be 2, but as always, the true challenge is to finish it :victory:

Btw, C. Rogerson, your race with A. Maia at Paul Ricard was fine, very close and in all followed what I typed above regarding this kind of events...

Even from technical point of view (TV camera) there is a slight advantage to the Nordschleife since it is an official circuit... and just to make it clear, I do prefer the Nordschleife but I voted either as in truce I would race anywhere :wink2:

Moar DTM :D

Love the cars - what would be nice would be a 60 min race with a mandatory pitstop, or even if we keep it around 40 mins, having a pitstop thrown into the mix would be interesting. :)

An hour long race? No thanks..40 minutes was long enough at that track :p

I have read that there was a few "cars on roofs" have you guys adjusted your bonespring threshold??

Didnt know about that, but thanks, will check it out

I had some luck surviving the messy first lap, and continued with a fairly clean and consistent race, mostly chasing and being chased by Nick, John, and Abdul - great racing guys!

:thumb: Yup, some good racing. Who was catching me at the end only to spin on the last but one corner? Sorry, but i had to raise a smile and a brief laugh at it :D

Might well of been me. :laugh2:

Qualied an RD best P3.
Had a ok start compared to my practice ones only losing one place on the way down to turn 1 but got bumped and rolled over.
At the uphill right I bumped someone so many apologies to whoever it was. I saw Bob was stuck on the kerb as he mentioned on TS so I helped him off, glad it helped. :)

Caught up to Evans when I spun a few times after passing. Got past him eventually then slowly caught up to the rest of the mid-field.
Finished something like 12th I think.

In truth, I'm terrible when it comes to close battles, my strengths lie with consistant lap times, even if they are slightly slower than others (Aritan!!).

I just don't like Nord. I personally find setups difficult and find it difficult to get into my 'rythm' as its so long. I much prefer a medium-long racetrack, something similar to Paul Ricard would be my preference.

Whatever the choice, I still wouldn't pass up on a race like this again!!
