Guy's I've gotta leave, I'm lagging like mad :( I'm not sure if it's to do with Windows 7 or just my PC. Frame rates drop to about 20 at some places and it's not really enjoyable :weep:

Anyway:

Race 1: Got a good start with 5 of us trying to get around T1 at the same time, which was entertaining. Then had a good few laps with none other than Gary Lennon. He is a real pain trying to defend agaisnt so in the end he got past me. A few laps later I went on the grass at the first chicane and wen't flying into the tyre wall :wilt:

The flu has really buggered my concentration, can't do two clean laps in a row. If someone wants to take my place for Goodwood they're welcome.

Lasted two corners at Castle Combe and somehow managed 5 laps at Birmingham.

I'd better be feeling better tomorrow or I will cry :(

  • Theo Loonstra

It was great fun.
To bad I usually can't make it every Friday due to my RL activities but when i can i'll try and get a spot.
First 2 races were good and last race had to give up with a broken suspension.

Made it for the last 2 races, suffered a puncture at 2nd race and tried my best not to be lapped but was not quicl enough.

Couldn`t stop leaving track in 3rd race, it was so funny.

Thanks Andrew and RD I would be lost without my Friday night Mini fix.

Another cracking nite thanks to Andrew, cheers mate

Castle Combe
Qually erm 6TH i think
Race
Was going great, couldnt get hang of 1st chicane, kept cutting grr half way through race i was in 3rd battling with "move over must get past, ur too slow" max i dropped of the pace and i cut after the 1st chicane which resulted in a stop n go, lost control n went on fiaaaaaa!! Was good pace.

Birmingham
Qually 3rd
Race
got good start was 2nd in 1st corner which left me to catch up with Gary unfortunately he crashed on last corner, unfortunate mate!! Was lonely for good 4 or 5 laps untill "speedy jim" Lewis caught me fair play mate u done well, u wer faster than me and pulled good 6 sec gap to the finish line.

Goodwood,
Qually 6th
Race
Got good start again, really good pace from everyone as Gary said, Had good close battles with every1 "Ben, lewis and dan" lost control alot grrr but still had some really good moments, finished in 9th position.

And the usual suspects on TS good laugh lads, enjoy the banter.

Thanks to RD and again Andrew for the brilliant event tonite.

Loved it all!!,real good fun clawing up from 9th qual at Castle C.
Still confused about why my mini suddenly exploded exiting the final turn at SuperPrix!?! :// ,i didnt even hit the barrier and it was like my car just suddenly stopped like it hit a parked car,i watched all through the race plenty guys proper smacking the barrier there with no probs, ive never seen that happen in any previous races there in various vehicles...
The finale' at glorious Goodwood was ace,my GTL experience there payed off, after Dan dropped off from 2nd it was plain sailing to the end :).

Big thanks the Minismeister Evsy for another quality trio of tracks :good:
Ofcourse Thanks to RD making it all possible.

Hi Eric, I would like to sign up.
This will be my first race with RaceDepartment. I'm very excited and a little nervous! I'm not very fast, but I try to drive clean and smooth.

If you guys have any advice for a novice, I'm all ears! (car selection, pit strategy, setups...). I have been fairly comfortable driving the C30 or the Leon so far.

Great choice Fridays are always fun and its a great bunch of guys. Welcome Jason:rotfl:
