PC1 Project Cars: Final car list revealed

Project Cars Full Car LIst.JPG

Slightly Mad Studios has published the final car list for their upcoming multi-platform racing game Project Cars.

You can find the full list right below, and as you can see it's got quite a bit of everything. I'm sure everybody will find a car to their tastes, since there's road cars, super cars, karts, GTs, prototypes and single-seaters in the mix.

Looks like the lights are finally becoming green for Project Cars after a couple of delays and some uncertainties: the game will be out on "midnight May 7th" and the preload is already available for Xbox One users.

The official webpage, interestingly, adds some question marks to the list, labeled as "coming soon". No idea about what that could mean - secret cars? Or maybe some manufacturers haven't been licensed yet?

Also, it should be noted that the press release says that the game will "expand and go deeper with this community-focused list after launch".

Going to hold off a month or two I think, see where it lies with AC. I'm loving AC at the moment and want to see what they do with that. Would love to see the weather you get in PC in AC where its changeable during the race but I like AC and will stick with it for now as it has everything I need to enjoy myself racing. If RD online racing goes that way I'll buy.

So i only get the Mclaren F1 and the Sauber if i ordered the limited edition, bummer i preordered on steam months ago. think it was standard edition. would have loved to drive the F1. is there any other ways to get the car?

They had already said there will be more DLC's coming (i.e. that's never been a question). They want to provide more content updates over the next 2-3 years. The idea of "free work" is long gone (which is why a lot of game devs have closed up shop over the recent years of not be able to establish a model which is sustainable).

I don't see rF2 or GSC doing it, anyways my point was that there's going to be too much DLC, and everything on the game is focussed on getting people to pay for the DLC that's overpriced (something EA is criticized for)
Some DLC I think isn't bad but I fear it'll be based around that

I bet if you look around racedepartment you can find at least one active developer that regularly does free updates. But in general that doesn't seem to be the norm.

ISI expects the community to create their content. They will never provide as much content themselves as Kuno or SMS will provide. GSC just releases entire new products (Stock Car Extreme, etc).

SMS will be supporting the platform for a few years. That work is not going to be free, but it will be optional. If you buy a set of Legos, you are free to do what you want with that set forever. However, new sets are not free, you have to go pay for a new set if you want it.

GSC releases new products? Sorry but that's not true. Game stock car was a free update from GSC2013 and they've added a bunch of stuff since then. ISI has been releasing decent content themselfs, and updating it too.

Technically, yes they do. The company is Reiza Studios and not everything they have is released on the same platform. They could have (since it's all isiMotor based), but they choose to separate come parts as entire new releases.

Again, ISI will not be release "as much" content as Kunos and SMS. It's just not going to happen. How many cars/tracks have ISI released themselves?
