in short if you think this was done on purpose and not by drivers mistake then yes
was it in rookie series??? If yes then I wouldn´t, but then again it wasn´t my SR :wink:

Could it have possibly been accidental or the result of an inexperienced driver? if you think it was malicious though then hell yes protest it! In my opinion we all have a duty to our fellow members to report incidents just like we would if we were in a club house and one member was walking around punching the other members, you'd do something right? because if you didn't he'd just carry on doing it every time you were all at the club house and in the end people would get fed up and leave the club.
