Problem with the alerts system

Just wondering whether there's any known issues with the alerts over the last few weeks. We've had race threads posted over in the Grid Autosport and Other Racing Games (Shift 2 threads) lately and people are not being the alerts from tags and as a result have missed our on races resulting in postponements.

Any ideas what is going on with then?

They have to read the last message of the thread. Otherwise alerts dont work
