Problem with re-installing GTR Evolution

Hi there,
I've got a problem with installing Steam/GTR-E on my computer, again.
I had GTR-E working, but had addons running with it.
Because it was not running without any microstutter,
i decided to uninstall Steam and GTR-E and do a fresh install again.
Just to see how it's running on default.
But when im try to install, Steam is trying to update, till 26%.
Then i got an error message;

Is someone familiar with it,
or got a solution for this?

Goto your steam directory, Delete clientregistry.blob and SteamUI.dll. Run steam.exe again, log in, and it will force the steam to update from the beginning. That usually cures any updating issues with steam. Good luck

It's working now.

I've removed every file i could find of steam,
and after that, i ran RegSupreme Pro.

After that, i had no problems anymore.
