Portland track loading issue

so I downloaded the Portland international track form the track links thread and when loading the track I have this message come up:

“Error loading texture SKIDS_TURN for material SKID_TURN”

“Error loading global material SKID_TURN”

Then the games crashes, any clue as to why?

i guess this has to do with direct x. can anybody help me on this? still trying to get this to work.
