Darn. Really bummed I had to miss this one. I did spend some time working on this track over the weekend and I really love the flow of this circuit, but ended up having to work late last night :frown: Sounds like you guys had a blast (again).

It was a lot of fun racing with you all. I was a bit nervous because I hadnt raced in quite some but I couldnt pass up racing on my favorite track with my favorite car. Qual was good and I started race one in second place. I wasnt exactly sure how much fuel to put in but I learned the hard way how much when I ran bone dry with a lap and half to go. Congrats to the winner of the first race. Race two was more enjoyable as I had enough fuel to go the distance. Started back in 11th and tried to stay away from the madness in front of me. There was a lot going on in the turn 5/6 complex on the opening lap. I went to make a move on the inside of turn 6 but there were a few cars rejoining on the inside so I made a quick move around a slowed car on the outside and got by it all unscathed. I pressed hard to try and catch the two leading cars when the Vette spun. Saul and I battled it out for 2 laps or so when I finally got by. Great defensive driving Saul. Im surprised we didnt crash each other through turns 7 and 8, its so hard to pass cleanly through there. I dont think we could fit a piece of paper between us . Thanks Eric for putting on the event. Hopefully ill have the time to join in on another race soon.
