Pit crew does nothing when I enter (career mode)

I am told the pit road is open (Brands Hatch) so I enter and enter my pitbox,the repair options box pops up with a repair time of 25 seconds then I just sit in the pit box forever.

I can't adjust anything in the pit crew dialog either.

Got the same problem yesterday when I try the game after a long break.
Not sure how to deal with it ?

I overshot the pitbox,that’s what triggered the no show by the pitcrew.

Also I have found after leaving the pits,the pit gui stays on the screen
