Only 8 cars on track in RACE

I have the BTB Evo version and I love the way it exports to GT Legends. I also have GTR Evolution/Race 07 game and wanted to get my track there. I exported to it and copied the HAT file to the track folder. It all works very well. But when I wanted to race I can only race against 7 opponents, I cannot click and choose more opponents then just 8 cars on the track. I opened the gdb file and changed the number from 8 till 22. Now the track doesn't show up anymore and had to export it again and have again just 8 cars. Can someone please help me, on how to get 22 cars on the track?

I'd try changing the .gdb again, try not to use notepad if you can.

Opening the .gdb file in WordPad also works ok. At least it does for me!!
