Strava build this track back in Feb 2006 for GPL and converted it to GTL later on.
MY BIGGEST RESPECT FOR THIS KIND WORK
It became a bit aged in it's original textures and missing SimBin eye candy
but since the track is still one of my favorites I asked him if it is OK to
clean up the floor a little bit and he kindly agreed.

Road Atlanta 1970 1.1

Road Atlanta 1970 for GT Legends.

The original GPL circuit was made by Dave Noonan.
Bud Lucas did the conversion to rFactor.
I offer the conversion, and update of the circuit
for GT Legends.

The circuit updates include:
Some new textures, by Pain-Less and myself.
New grass and circuit textures.
Animated marshals.
Starter, pit in and pit out animated flag men.
A new camera file.
Some new trees planted in attempting to fill
some terrain holes that are inevitable with
these older generation circuits.
GTL loading screen.

There are provisions for 21 grid spots.
The only issue I'm aware of is that cars leaving
the pits tend to side swipe each other a bit.

the circuit folder for full credits to Dave Noonan
and Bud Lucas.

Thanks to Dave Noonan for this great track, and
to Bud Lucas for the rFactor conversion and
permission to convert it to GT Legends.
Thanks to Pain-Less for updated textures,
and to motorfx for the bitumen texture.

*UPDATE* As pointed out the circuit didn't open
until 1970, so, instead of maintaining the convention
of GPL (which was set in 1967) circuits being named
as " '67 XXXX " I've updated the circuit to 1970.
If you wish to update from the earlier '67 version
you'll need to delete the .HAT file, the settings folder,
and any replay data as well as the old circuit folder.
