Official FIA WEC Promotion Video Released

The FIA has released their official FIA World Endurance Championship preview video. This overview of 2012 gives a nice insight look in what to expect for the coming Endurance racing year.

The series, dedicated to Le Mans Prototypes and GrandTourer-style racing cars is going into it's second season which will start in April at the legendary Silverstone in the UK. The WEC is considered to be one of the most demanding championships around, and therefor has a huge popularity with both drivers and spectators. This years season will run up to November, when the final event will be held at Bahrain.

nice one, certainly makes you wonder why there still isn't a serious sim built around the 24h of lemans. looks like iRacing is slowly getting there, but they certainly take their time.

Probably the same reason why no sim racing games are built around F1. Snakepit with licenses I think

Apart from the race at Le Mans, they might as well have called it an endurance sprint championship. Only 6 hour races. Come on!
