oculus rift and which graphics card to go with it : rtx 2060 or rtx 270

Hi guys
when I buy a rift, I also need a new graphics card that can maintain the 90fps
furthermore I do general gaming on 2650x1080.

what card should I get with enough headroom for a solid 90fps in VR racing? the rtx2060 or the rtx2070.
I want to keep the card for the next few years.

I now run i5 6600k at 4.2Ghz with 32gb ddr4. and I also plan to get a new cpu : the i7 9700k

I hope to get some advice here. thanks in advance

Even a RTX2080TI can struggle with VR when you are @ the start in Iracing with + 30 cars 45FPS @ SS2.0 max iracing class 1 graphics but when the field is spread 90FPS ( I have a RTX2080TI )
So if your budget can hold it buy the RTX2070! even then you wil see it limitations
