    Hi guys,

I've just re-formatted my PC, completely fresh version of XP (Yes, not 7 yet) and also I've got a 9800GT and I am getting that graphics stuttering in rFactor where it freezes, then comes back and all the textures are screwed up.

I believe there's a fix but can't find it, can anyone help?

    Cheers,

    Nick

Tried 171 and still seemed to crash. Tried that d3d and crashed.

Those settings would be great Ryan. Do I download nHancer?

    Cheers

Yes, nHancer is a freeware independent program that unlocks the potential of Nvidia cards. I'm not confident it will fix your problem however.

    ZooMin_MIr's work.

I'm running driver 186.18_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql. That's the latest one which works for me without issues.

    I had this issue too.

I didnt really find the answer, but it did provide me the excellent opportunity to format my HDD and install Win7.
    Since then, no problems.

A friend of mine had the same thing too, but all he did was fresh install rF and it sorted it.
