No keyboard or mouse?

I already have a cordless keyboard with touchpad on it but is there a way in rFactor to map a button/buttons so that, assuming you only wanted to cycle using the same circuit and car, you could just hit "Race" and do an Esc without having lean across and use the touchpad/keyboard?
