DiRT Rally New patch performance issues

Anybody got it? I ran high preset before the patch. Now high preset is kinda slow, ultra is a slideshow (while it used to be around 45fps on feeling). Now I'm running medium, and there is still some microstutter every few seconds. Tried it with AMD 15.8 and 15.9.1 drivers, not driver related.

Specs: i5 4460, R9 270X, 8GB RAM

I fixed my stuttering by changing the shader level to ultra. If I set it to anything else, I have stuttering, frequent drops to even 10fps. (CPU FX-6300, 8GB DDR3, GTX 760)

After a bit more playing around I find that I have mostly stutter free operation, except for night stages. As long as my car's headlights are providing the only illumination everything is still smoothm but if I come to a section with much external lighting (eg floodlights, other car lights) then the FPS will tank. Anyone else noticing this?

My bad, It's "High". I should have wrote the highest setting. I was thinking Ultra would be the highest.

The game was butter smooth on high pre-update, and stutters like hell even on medium post-update. I think people who have this problem can only experiment how the settings affect the stuttering and performance and wait for the next patch to see if it's gonna be re-optimized

Ye, it doesn't matter if I run everything on lowest, or max, it's just the same anyway.

Then it's on their end. Your PC is monster, if it doesn't run well for you something is wrong

Stuttering has got worse, whichever settings I try. Not sure if its that or game is more blurry, making me feel sick.
Taking me bat and ball home, not playing this game till its sorted.

Yep, this is it, micro pauses
It's core detection issue
I have i7-5930K 3.5GHz 6-Core and it detects it as a single core. The thread on issue

Haha, it's the other way around! All my time in RBR, made it easier to not get stuck in the R3E gravel!

Try running Steam as an Admin. Then go to steamapps/common/dirt and run Dirt.exe as an Admin as well. Perhaps running Steam as an admin will be enough.
