After ford implied that they are actively looking into WEC hypercar regs to compete, i was so happy to see if Ford wants to compete in WEC hypercar era with a hypercar based on Ford GT (at the very least based on its look, yeah i'm Ford GT fanatic lol) but it seems they won't. may be they are cooking something new for WEC's top class

They could just enter the GTE... so many aero tricks it would have been illegal for LMP1 just for that. Doubt Ford have anything fast enough though & they're still looking at DPi.

Wasn't there huge disappointment with the buyers of the current Ford GT's street version about power and -more importantly- weight?

I mean not as much as a M6 or M8, but still.
