My new WRC steering wheel

Let me introduce my new steering wheel with custom button box. The rim is a 33 cm round and flat rim from Aliexpress, covered in leather, very nice, inexpensive, comfortable and not very heavy. As you can see, the custom button box is in front of the rim, unlike the traditional way. This is to mimic the modern steering wheels seen in the WRC, which is my favourite motorsport discipline. One advantage too is the extra room for placing the controls and the labels. It features 9 digital buttons (no need for rotaries, since I never used them). Most of the buttons have dual functions (single press or press and hold) programmed with AutoHotkey. The button placement and the design in general is symmetric. I didn't need a very ergonomic design in the sense of reaching the buttons without releasing my hands from the rim, because I don't normally use the buttons during the race (90% rally driving). If you are missing the important wiper button, that's because (like in real WRC), it's on a separate fixed module on the left of the steering wheel. The box is made in ABS with 3D printing. It's as thin as possible to allow the buttons and the USB controller inside. The front plate is made in lexan (3mm) and covered with carbon fibre vinyl (7 times cheaper for me than using real carbon fibre). The USB controller is a Xinmotek pcb, very small and inexpensive. The coiled cable is 3m long and thinner than usual. Everything is screwed to a OMP lightweight spacer. The designs were made using FreeHand and Tinkercad. I like the result very much. It feels sturdy and looks really badass. I hope you like it too.

Hello Elaphe

I'm sorry for the necro but I don't know if you'll see the message I sent by convo.
Do you still have the 3D plans for this button box? I can't find them on your thinkcad profile. Only your other work

Thanks
