Motec: How do I change dampers?

Hello everyone,

I tried to setup the 30/20/20/30 rule with my dampers in GTR2, however when I change the values of rebound slow/fast and bump slow/fast it almost doesn't change (after a few laps testing) in Motec - still to far away to reach the rule. Is there some other settings that I must change to make the dampers work?

Versions:
- GTR2 with GTR2_HQ_Anniversary_PATCH_v15_2_0
- GTR2_HQ_MODS_COLLECTION_v15_0_0
- Car: Saleen S7R (not HQ, the original)
- Motec: MoTeC-i2-Pro-1.0.21.0030-August2013 (from the HQ Patch)
- Track: Brno 2004
- in userdata/USER.PLR: Data Acquisition Version="0"

just made a test with last hq patch 15.8.2 : I disabled base game so I used HQ vanilla cars which are the same (All hq fixes and updates with totally stock gtr2 physics) and modifying dampers in setup works as you can see on screenshots below. Thus optimized damper values increased cornering speed by 10% and steering wheel is moving.

Thanks @GTR233 for testing. Ok so it actually works. then I'll try to reinstall it, maybe something is broken in my installation (for example I also have no wheel movement in Motec)

what is the 30/20/20/30 rule?
Is there any instruction on how to setup dampers using motec in gtr2?
