This is for a fresh install:

Here is a normal PLR file:

Data Acquisition In Race="0"
Data Acquisition EXE=""
Data Acquisition File="C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\USERDATA\\vehicledata.spt"
MoTeC LogFolder="MoTeC\Logged Data"
But I found if you install MoTeC first, and then install Race, it will detect your MoTeC install and you get this:

Data Acquisition In Race="0"
Data Acquisition EXE="C:\Program Files (x86)\MoTeC\i2\1.0\MoTeC.exe"
Data Acquisition File="C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\USERDATA\\vehicledata.spt"
MoTeC LogFolder="MoTeC\Logged Data"
Notice it found my install even though it gets installed to a different location on Vista x64 "Program Files (x86)" instead of "Program Files".

Just one less thing you have to do on a fresh install :)

Mike wicked discovery. I am close to doing a fresh install myself. This will be one less hassle with the plr file. Thanks

Remember, you still have to change Data Aquisition to "1" and tell it where to put the Logged Data, but at least the program path is there.
