Mercedes to bring major updates to Catalunya

Rumours are abound in the Formula paddock that Mercedes are planning to bring major updates to the Mercedes MGP W01 at Catalunya, Spain - round 5 of the Formula One World Championship.​

These may include extreme changes to the car, including things like extending the wheelbase, and modifying the rear suspension and the gearbox casing; however team boss Ross Brawn said that "The chassis is homologated, we cannot change it."

In other news, heavy rain is expected at Shanghai on raceday (18[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2010), according to BBC Weather, but qualifying is expected to be bright, dry and sunny.

Lets hope those changes will speed up Schumi a little bit. I really want him to be competitive again but so far it's not really what I expected of his return.

Everyone will have upgrades at barca though, might reduce the margin of improvement for him a little.
