Massive drop in fps when playing GTL

Can anyone help....

I'm running GTL in Windows 10, and lately the game is having massive fps drops.

I've set the game up with the 4gb patch and always set affinity to all cores in Task manager.

The game starts fine with 120fps, but as I continue to play the fps gradually drop.

After about 20 minutes, the fps drop and stay around 40fps.

All other games (GTR2, Race 07, PC2, ACC) have no issues.

Any suggestions?

As it's only one sim
Best idea imho make a second folder of STOCK GTL to test
Don't add a thing NOT 4gb Patch or anything else yet

Always keep a standalone copy you can just drag, drop and run anytime

Thanks, but I think I'll have to reinstall the game again but I don't want to lose all my saved data. How do I keep my saved files if I delete and reinstall the game? Thanks
