Loud gear change sound in trackside external view

Hey guys, I was watching my replay laps of ASR's Benetton B191 at the stock Kunos Imola and on the trackside views, even as the car fades into the distance, I still hear a massive loud gear change "thunk"...almost as if it is playing the internal gear change sound at full volume in the external view. The engine noise fades but this weird gear change sound is at full volume.

I'm using CM, Sol, and the Shader Patch. I'm not sure whether it is a bug of the mod's sound files, or a track sound thing, or a shader patch bug?

Any ideas?
