Loose Logitech G27 wheel. Is this normal?

so got this g27 second hand and immediately noticed this:

is this normal for a g27?
any way to fix it?

My G25 has the same problem, from the moment i bought it in the store.

Its the meshing of the gears, the tolerances cant be too tight, hence you get some rattle.

Start to worry when it spins freely!

My G25 does not have any of this looseness or noise when i go left/right with it.
It's at least 5 years old by now, running a few nights a week.
The only rattle i have hear from it when i go off track in rF2.
