I tried the V8s on the Cl50 server tonight and had no sound, no engine sound at all. I was wearing headphones and the sound was on speakers in the menu, and all other game sounds were active through the speakers, just not the engine. Put it back on to headphones in the menu and restarted and all good again.

sorry I'm giving up on rF2. It runs and looks awful in vr compared to other sims like AC and AMS2.

not sure if there are any setting i'm missing.

Apologies to Denis for the shunt in R2. 2 laps in a row I had this weird lighting effect when I was about to brake approaching the 2nd chicane. Managed to get away with it the 1 st time. Not so the 2nd. Strangely it never happened after that.

Race 1 was great, I managed to win from the back of the grid...
No fun in race 2, at the start I press some wrong buttons, and I change something on my wheel, I think I have doubled the sensitivity, I had to steer too much, was very difficult to control the car. And since I play in VR, I couldn't fix it on the fly

I haven't tried other sims, but for me rF2 works very well, and looks nice. Even with my old pc with an old 1080ti

sadly i was working and i'm not sure my setup would have been any better then yours.
