EA Sports WRC Logitech G920 useless with EA Sports WRC

I have only just got around to trying this game on my "primary" system, with a Logitech G920. I downloaded the latest game update, powered up the G920, and... nothing. Not only does the game not recognize the wheel, it doesn't respond to any inputs other than a mouse click. I can't even scroll through menu options on the main screen to select the setup options. Nothing. What's more annoying, I tried to contact game support, and it is a nightmare. The EA site is completely circular, and doesn't seem to offer the option to just ask for help from the devs. Anyone having a similar experience with a G29/G920?

Oops! Never mind. It's not the G920. It's the PC itself. This game only works with my laptop, not my desktop. It literally won't respond to any inputs with ANY controller. Total shite, but at least I can still use it on my laptop.
