KSP esque driving game

I have had a thought, I thought that it would be an awesome idea if you could build race cars and race tracks like you can build aircraft and rockets in KSP. I just thought that it would be a good idea to share my idea on these forum and maybe, someone could make this all happen. I just want to see whether any of you thinks this idea is any good.

I think something like automation (look it up), and adding an exporter, so you can transfer your cars to rfactor etc...
