keyboard problems with Raceroom

I tried for weeks now to figure this out but for some reasons I cannot work out this issue.

When raceroom is started some of my keyboard functions work any longer - it is like Raceroom high jacks the keyboard and some of my normal keyboard mappings with Windows or third party apps do not work any longer.

I have for example an app running that maps the media keys on my keyboard so I can change audio volume on the fly - not working.

Keyboard mappings I have done through the controller menu in Raceroom work fine so it is not a keyboard issue (the keyboard also works flawless in any other racing sim or Windows app without any malfunction).

Is there a setting I am missing in Raceroom?

Certain games tend to do that, yes, and Raceroom seems like one of them. I had the volume control issue as well due to my somewhat non-standard audio setup and had to go to great lengths to find a solution that works for me.

You could try running that app as Administrator if you haven't, that can sometimes help.
