issue: i have a black blob...........

Hi, i have been trying to figure out why there is a black blob underneath the car at all times. if i change the ambient shadow size it doesn't affect anything. even if i turn shadowing off completely i still get the same black ring around the car, have also "updated ambient shadows" to no effect, does anyone have any idea what this could be?
