This might be a stupid question, but I'll take te risk Is it possible to bypass Custom Shaders Patch once it's installed - for example by starting AC the usual way not using CM?

You can deactivate it completely in the CM settings.

Thank you! Just to be clear; CSP active or not has nothing to do with the way AC is started (via Content Manager vs via Steam)?

Yes, you can still use Content Manager, but can turn off the CSP (or any part of it) and still launch AC.

Right, if CSP is active, it'll be running no matter how you launch the game.
