DiRT Rally How to prevent understeer?

Playing for the first time today with the mini-cooper. I was able to win some stages, but not a single one on gravel. The car is understeering too much.
Any tips ?

For Mini change brake bias towards back, also might try suspension see if you like it better that way. Atleast for greece i found softer suspension very good for throwing the car into the corners since it wouldnt turn otherwise

Thanks, will try softer suspension. At medium and high speed, the handbrake and some weight transfer will do the job.

If it makes you feel any better I had a horrible time with the Mini to begin with, but later on once you open up Advanced Setup options, or maybe when you progress to the Escort Mk2 with advanced setup options your fun will really begin

I have my DIFF at 0, easier cornering better straight high speeds.
Brake before corner, enter corner add gas, touch of handbrake, it'll spin around
You need speed and gas to corner and touch the handbrake, but when still oversteer you need to be able to let go of the accellerator
