How to make just the sun brighter?

so before SOL 2.0 i felt the sun its self was brighter, now its a dull circle in the sky. Is there anyway to fix this without making everything else brighter?

So many settings....

You could try the day time ambient light level?

You can increase size of sun?

There are some settings that make the sun look more blown out / fuzzy looking I think.

I've spent hours fiddling with these settings. Time I'll never get back.

I have the the same „problem“ since i switched from CSP 1.60 to 1.68 (non CM,SOL user)

Before with the right date/time constelation the sun was shining through the trees and blending a bit.

Its gone since the upgrade.
I fiddeled a lot with some ini files but did not find the solution.

One thing that made the sun shining brighter again was changing the ppfilter to the A3PP filter with good result.

But i couldnt not achieve this blending effect from CSP 1.60 version

Of course a rollback is not an option because 1.68 brought some other great imptovements.

Maybe someone knows which ini. file is responsible for this glare effect ....
