How should I answer my manager?

My manager tells me I've got an invitation to Max Mosley's costume party.
Should I accept this invitation?
People say they're full of action, but could it affect my relationship to the press?

Hilarious!!

I have spoken to people who have attended such parties.
Their advice was:
1) Dont let him think you are either German Italian or French as it gets him going.
2) Don't accept drinks from strangers
3) Don't move into any ante rooms
4) Never Never accept an invitation to be a "Host"
