That number cannot be right.
Even for Assetto Corsa says more then 600k, on their official forum says 170k. I don`t know where these numbers from.

Well I think a lot of people missed the chance to migrate to Steam, which is a shame. In general, SteamSpy is very accurate, the dude is obsessed with tweaking the calculations and has numerous times adjusted it based on official numbers that devs told him. You can also look at the most-subscribed Workshop item, which is ISI Bathurst at 56525 subscribers. Matches pretty well with the 56,389 ± 7,470 from SteamSpy.

I think you are confusing the registered users on the AC forums with the actually playerbase. 600K sounds about right for AC and 60000'ish for rF2 as well.
