Maybe it is better to understand how Windows works before modding games.
When you install programs under protected default locations like C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86), you need to run stuff with elevated privileges to access.

So, run EEA as admin or change your way of installing stuff. Either to D:\ or to C:\Custom Game Folder etc.
